Mr. Brown began his career as a structural engineer, but after 15 years decided to turn his attentions to the arena of HVAC design. Since joining Summit Consultants, Inc. in 1999 he has worked to become proficient in the design of HVAC systems. In 2007 Garrett turned his attention to the commissioning of buildings and building systems. Mr. Brown is registered as an engineer in the state of Texas and currently manages the Commissioning department at Summit.

Mr. Leveritt has been involved in the HVAC industry since 2004 and is a licensed mechanical engineer in the state of Texas. Chad is experienced in the design of large secure institutional facilities, high-rise condos, refrigerated warehouses, parking structures, churches, industrial, healthcare, K-12 and higher education institutions. Chad also regularly performs highly specialized mechanical design and energy analysis studies.

Mr. Ruse is an electrical engineer with more than 15 years of experience.  He is licensed as an engineer in multiple states, and is a LEED Accredited Professional (BD&C).  He has experience in a wide variety of projects, including data centers, industrial facilities, mission critical facilities, hospitals/healthcare, higher education, central plants, LEED, commercial and high-rise buildings, churches, schools and other project types.  His expertise includes areas such as healthcare, lighting design, medium voltage distribution, energy efficiency, mission critical and other areas.  Mr. Ruse particularly enjoys larger, more complex projects, as well as the opportunity to use new technologies and exacting design techniques in order to reduce a building’s energy consumption while exceeding the owner’s requirements.

Mr. Steele is originally from West Texas who earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Texas Tech University. With 4 years of experience in the MEP industry, his project knowledge includes data centers, K-12 schools, higher education, high-rises, retail, offices, multi-family, churches, and large-scale phased infrastructure planning. He believes great engineering is a fundamental deliverable that takes daily effort to keep honed. He also believes developing the relationship between our team and the client is imperative, as it allows for transparency within the design, which is vital for a successful project.

He currently serves as a Project Manager and Plumbing Department Manager for Summit, ensuring that our high standard of quality is passed on to the client in a timely manner.

John Sanborn
Technology Design Manager

Mr. Sanborn currently serves as Technology Design Manager for Summit Consultants.  John is a graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems.  He began his career as an IT Director, but after 20 years transitioned to the field of Technology Design.  John believes that constant research and attention to detail are paramount for delivering designs that exceed expectations.
